Looking for a sweet, warm, delicious treat?
Try baking a couple of pears for a snack or dessert. Here's my recipe:

2 ripe pears
Juice of one half lemon
1 teas. ghee or organic butter + extra for greasing the pan
1/4 cup chopped nuts - pecans, walnuts (avoid peanuts which are legumes)
Ground cinnamon and cardamon
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Wash the pears and cut them in half. Core the seeded area.
Place the pears in a single layer, in a lightly greased, shallow baking pan.
Place 1/4 teas. of ghee or butter into the cored area of the pear halves.
Evenly pour the lemon juice onto the four pear halves.
Sprinkle the pears with cinnamon and/or cardamon powder.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts on top of the above spices.
Bake for 30+ minutes.
Serve with A2/A2 yogurt, organic Greek yogurt or a plant-based yogurt or just on their own. The spices are warming for these cold winter days.
